Tom Jones, The Feeling, Razorlight... The Hot Rats? When you're looking at our line up you might find yourself wondering how a band you've never heard of have snuck their way into a list of great artists. Do they know the right people? Have they slipped us £20? Are they secretly the best band in the world?

The answer is - although The Hot Rats themselves might not sound familiar, you will have heard of the men behind it - Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey.

Yes that's right, all may seem currently quiet in Supergrass land but Gaz (vocals) and Danny (drums) just couldn't keep away from the music scene. While their creative writing juices are kept for the 'Grass, The Hot Rats is all about the boys covering some of their favourite songs in rock & roll history. And the strange thing? They don't look a day older than they did back in 1994 in the 'Alright' video.

Currently recording their debut album with Radiohead and all round hero of producers Nigel Godrich, their appearance at Rockwell will give you a sneak preview what lies ahead. Expect gloriously perky covers of classics by the likes of Velvet Underground, The Beatles, The Sex Pistols and The Beat. The question on everyone's lips has to be, will any of Gaz & Danny's heroes show up to join them for a collaboration? As soon as we know we'll keep you in the loop.
