Formed in 2002, Razorlight took the London music scene by storm immediately. Their crowd pleasing, post-Britpop tracks were an instant hit with gig-goers.
The buzz around the band had grown so much that by the time they released their 2004 debut 'Up All Night' it went to Number 3 in the charts. The quartet went on to win the Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef awards for Best New Artist of 2005.
With the arrival of their second album 'Razorlight' in 2006, the band had made the transition from indie rockers to big-time rock and rollers, earning their stripes supporting U2, The Rolling Stones and Queen. As well as a five star review from 'Q' magazine, the album contained their first number one, 'America.'
By 2007 they were headlining the Reading and Leeds festivals. Their acclaimed third album, 2008's 'Slipway Fires,' continued their unique take on classic rock.
