Since winning the BBC talent show 'Star For A Night' at the tender of 14, Joss has taken the music world by storm with an angelic voice that belies her age.
Working with soul legend Betty Wright and neo-soul band The Roots, 2003's EP 'The Soul Sessions' was an instant success, notable for her take on The White Stripes 'Fell In Love With A Girl.' Her full length debut 'Mind, Body and Soul' was released a year later. It debuted at number one, making her the youngest singer to ever achieve the honour. Not only that but the album garnered three Grammy nominations as well as winning two BRIT awards. She was also headlined the Nordoff-Robbins Christmas Carol Service in 2005.
By the time of her third album, 2007's 'Introducing...' she'd tempted the reclusive Lauryn Hill out of semi-retirement and into a collaboration. Her talent doesn't stop with singing however; she's also currently starring as Henry VIII's fourth wife Anne of Cleeves in the acclaimed TV show 'The Tudors.'
