It took until his fourth album release (1998's 'White Ladder') to finally break David Gray internationally. The slow burning single 'Babylon' became one of the songs of the year, turning David from 'respected singer/songwriter' into 'huge selling artist'. Mixing acoustic guitars and samplers with his gruff, understated voice on tracks like 'Please Forgive Me' and 'Sail Away', David become a songwriter who seemed to speak for millions. It was also these tracks which, in retrospect, defined an era.

The follow ups, 2003's 'A New Day At Midnight' and 2005's 'Life In Slow Motion' (which included 'The One I Love' and 'Alibi') both topped the charts and showed David's continued relevance in the hearts and minds of his audience. His new album 'Draw The Line' with lead single 'Fugitive' is released on September 14th this year.
